Talented and humble are just a couple words to describe our late friends both Jim Hogg and Sid Stocker. We consider them artists, others coin them as fabricators or designers. When these guys set out to do build or design something different they got it just right. These handlebar designs represent that sweet success.
We’ve had these designs on our personal custom bikes for years and sort of hoarded them for ourselves.
Says Sean D. Brand Manager
We are now proud to share them with the world and share a piece of Sid and Jim with everyone.
The Sid is one of those handlebars characterized by simple but innovative style. A simple window bar with a kicker; nothing more, nothing less. Made with 1-inch steel tubing featuring slots for internal wiring and crowned for throttle-by-wire applications. Welded and mandrel bent for precision fit. Available in 8” and 10” heights with Black Powder Coat or Chrome finishes.

The Jim is bent as a narrow clamp mount handlebar for splitting lanes and taking names. At 26” wide this is by far the skinniest bar we offer. Made with 1-inch steel tubing featuring slots for internal wiring and crowned for throttle by wire applications. Welded and mandrel bent for precision fit. Available in 9” and 11” heights with Black Powder Coat or Chrome finishes. #RIPJIMHOGG

The Burly Brandair cleaner is made from strong stamped steel and is finished in a durable powder coat or chrome. The air cleaner features oil breather bolts that route heat and chemical resistant flexible tubing through the air cleaner and back into the intake manifold for minimal oil mess. It also utilizes a K&N air filter for maximum performance and filtration. The filter is also designed to be stackable for high demand airflow performance with our second filter kit.
The angular design of the Burly Brandair cleaner compliments the Harley v-twin lines and looks great on a variety of build styles. Along with performance, knee clearance was an important consideration in the design process. We maintained a tight to the bike design without sacrificing airflow and took care to make sure no harsh corners or edges would contact your leg as you ride.
The full kit comes with everything included to replace your stock air cleaner, (some rejetting or ecm remapping may need to be made).
Hell On Wheels events are always tons of fun with good racing, crashes and even better people. There is never too many rules and nothing is really official so it’s a genuine good time! We brought out a couple race bikes and a mini bike or two just for fun. To be honest the mini bike race was where we had the most fun!
You don’t need a flat track bike or tires, this is a Hell on Wheels event, if it’s got two wheels you can race it!
Meatball the dude behind the Hell On Wheels events is an eclectic guy who draws in all sorts of characters. It was a blast seeing all the different bikes that were brought out to race, from a pair of Indians to a crazy Knucklehead tracker and you can’t forget the goofballs on the mini’s bringing the madness! The Handshift Class was also in full effect showing what old American iron can still do. Take a look at some of the good times below.
Well, we successfully made it through another year of Born Free! We brought back all of our bike builds and wood wall displays, this year showcasing our new products that were once prototypes at BF8 like our Fairings, some new pegs, and LED lighting. We had a very healthy turnout with lots of audience participation between our Handlebar fit station (fitster), and our spin the wheel game where people could win stickers, make a pin at our pin station, win a tshirt, or receive a raffle ticket. Also new to this year was our first $60 peg sale which caught lots of interest (for good reason!) We can’t wait to see what we come up with for next year!
.Biltwell’s semi-annual Mexican motorcycle adventure departs from Southern CA landing in San Felipe, Mexico about 350 miles and 6 hours of riding. This year, the El Diablo Run was a little different as it didn’t stay the last night in Ensenada. No Ensenada leg made things simpler and allowed more time for relaxing on the beach, riding excursions, etc.
Yeah it was Mother’s Day but no problemo amigo we brought mamacita with us! No palapas for us this year, been there done that. We had ourselves a room at Kiki’s Camp that was remodeled and very nice, especially after sleeping in the palapas for a couple runs and using the community showers etc. We tried to crash on the beach one of the nights. The party don’t stop until 6 in the mornin’ at Ruben’s, so it was more of a nap.
The sleepy fisherman town of San Felipe is great. We rode, we drank, we raced and had good times. There were a few hundred of us so called “bikers”. We were welcomed by the locals with pineapple drinks filled with booze.
There were awesome events planned from the Biltwell crew such as the Circle Of Death, Slow Races and other shenanigans we won’t mention. It was also great riding in and around San Felipe. Some folks ventured out to find 20ft cacti and hot springs. We found epic roads, beer, sunshine and fish tacos!

Now Available is a new line of pegs to accompany our existing MX-Style Peg lineup that fit Sportster and Dyna models.
Made from powder coated steel these pegs offer good lean angle with their slash style bottom edge. The razor back gets its name from the top ridge of traction screws that line the top surface. Screws can be installed with the provided split lock washers, or give them an even more aggressive bite by removing the lock washers and installing the screws with heavy duty Loctite for more exposed screw through the top!
Cut from 6061 t6 aluminum, the slash cut design allows for better lean angle and performance. With racing inspired design, these pegs will look great on any street machine.
Cut from 6061 T6 Aluminum these classic round pegs and style with added function. With a polished stainless steel end cap these pegs offer water tight storage for paper work cash or other miscellaneous small items that need a discrete place to live on your bike.
Based off an 07 Harley-Davidson Street Glide, we set out to create something to the best of their knowledge, hadn’t been done before: an MX-Style Bagger Build. Already sporting a selection of “off-road MX-style” pegs that fit Sportster and Dyna models, the next product to make it’s way down the chute for us had to be something for the HD Touring models, thus leading to the MX-Style Floorboards.
With the MX Floorboards molding the shape for the build, we took the rest of the bike in a flat track direction with a variety of our own parts including 13” Bagger Bars and an accompanying cable kit, a prototype headlight grill, the aforementioned floor boards and a prototype shift and brake lever. Other parts included on the build are: dual 19” Performance Machine wheels and components, Dunlop flat track tires, a Mustang seat, a one-off exhaust and fuel-pak from Vance & Hines, and a killer paint scheme by “Paint by Smokey” to tie it all together!
Once we got the bike dialed in, the next step could only be taking it to the track to get it sideways and prove it’s not just SHOW but also GO! The one and only Jimmy Burnouts was the man for the job after winning at Costa Mesa Speedway Harley Night on his Street Glide with street tires. This is a guy that knows his way around a performance based Bagger after all!
With that, the Dirt Bagger was taken to Milestone MX first for some glamour shots and then later is when the fun began. Jimmy showed up with all his MX gear ready but there was one problem; the track was not paved because the tractor broke the week before. The wind was howling and it all seemed like it was going down hill fast until the biggest rocks were removed by hand and Jimmy started doing some test runs. As it turns out, with Mr. Burnouts’ high level of skill and handling, the uneven terrain was just good enough to slide around. To make it even better, the track’s conditions made for some KILLER photos and video! After what had to be more than 40 laps around that crazy track the day came to a close and both Jimmy and for the most part the Bagger, left unscathed.
While most people’s jaws would drop to the floor at the mere idea of taking a $20k+ bike (let alone a Street Glide) onto a dirt track, pushing the envelope and going against the grain has always been the Burly Brand way.
What’s next for the Dirt Bagger? Probably Jimmy doing what he does best which is taking it to the street to see what it can REALLY do!
